KH4S-Ex: Side-Worn High Capacity Model

KH4S-Ex can be worn on the left or right side of your helmet. It can be directly inserted in the mining helmet slot. Two lamp brackets are also provided as standard accessories to attach the caplamp to the brim of any helmet. The angles are adjustable in both directions.
KH4S uses a high capacity battery – 4AH and so generates a very high light intensity. This makes it very suitable for underground mines and rescue operations.

Operations

The LED operates in three operating modes.

Auxiliary Mode: For low illumination or longer duration.
Main Mode: For general illumination.
High-Beam Mode: For a temporary light spotting or a long distance light projection.

Pressing the button switch can toggle the lamp in off ---- Auxiliary ---- Main ---- High-Beam.
WARNING: High-Beam mode is designed for temporary use. Do not forget to switch it back to Main mode, otherwise, it will not last for a whole 12-hour working shift..

Side-mounting

There are two ways to mount the lamp on a helmet and there are two side caplamp brackets in every package. The lamp is fitted in either side lamp bracket in the same way. Simply align the slot of the caplamp clip to the bracket bar and slide the lamp in.

Insert model of bracket, SLBI, can be inserted in the slot of a helmet. It is suitable for a miner's helmet. Screw model of bracket, SLBS, can be screwed onto the brim of the helmet. It is suitable for any other helmets.

The bracket is adjustable in left-right direction to set a distance from the helmet so other attachments such as a visor will not block the light. The lamp is also angle adjustable in the forward-back direction to set the light projecting direction. Using the both bracket and lamp adjustments, all-around angle is achieved.

Portable lamp applications

KH4S is not just a helmet lamp. It can be used as a portable lamp in various ways. KC4S
Torch: Simply hold in hand as a torch. Our Wrist Strap can help secure the lamp. KC4S
Belt wearing: Use our Belt Bracket to wear the lamp on the belt.
Fixed location: Use our Magnetic Clamp Bracket to clamp the lamp to an object or attach the lamp to a metal.
Frequently used location: Screw or glue our Lamp Brackets to a place where you use the lamp often, then fit the lamp on it
Powerful illumination: You can mount up to seven lamps together on our Lamp Cluster to achieve a very powerful illumination.
